About Sandridge
Neighbourhood Watch & Police

The Wards of Batchwood, Marshalswick North, Marshalswick South and Sandridge. Batchwood and Sandridge each have a dedicated Neighbourhood Constable.

Marshalswick North and South share a Neighbourhood Constable. Each Ward also has a named PCSO. These Officers have an in depth knowledge of the issues affecting their Wards and tailor their work plans to deal with these when practicable.

The police and Neighbourhood Watch are working in partnership with local Councillors and District Council to focus on CCTV to deter offenders. Local shop owners have also instigated the installation of 'alley gates' to prevent access to the rear of the shops. We are hopeful these measures will improve the quality of life of local shopkeepers and residents.
